A friend of mine is wanting me to draw a tattoo for her. She lived here in my home town and has been through alot of things in her life. All of a sudden, alot changed that really turned her life around. She was given a town home to live in near the beach (among other things). She's really happy now and wants a tattoo that represents the beach, the move, the new start. I'm going to do some research on sea creatures tomorrow, but if anyone has any input, I'd love to hear about it! Thank you!

Sea turtle is a good idea, like a poster stated,
it is born on land and goes to the sea, but even as a hatchling it has to struggle for it's life and has many obstacles before it reaches "security"

How about a tattoo of a salmon (which is born in a stream but lives in the ocean), done in the style of the NW Coastal tribes?

Dolphins are migratory by nature. They are always happy & playful, & have a permanent smile. When they are in trouble mankind always rushes to their rescue, & there have been many documented cases of Dolphins rescuing people as well.
Dolphins & people also share a common curiosity about one another too.
