A soda can holds about 12 oz., so it's like a small sip of soda... I'd consider it small.

there are 30 mls in an ounce. do the math 50mls =1 2/3 ounces
or 1.666 ounces. 50 mls is also the standard size for a shot.

The best answer I was able to find was, 50ml is equal to 1.6907 fluid oz. Which is rounded out to approximately 2 fluid oz.
