When I open up a web page the images will not open. It will just be a red X instead. When I tried to watch a video on Youtube it wouldn't play. A message appeared saying that I either turned off my javascript or I need to download the newest macromedia player. I updated both of those. What do I need to do?

Does it happen to every picture or just one picture. If it's all the time you might have your browser set on dial up mode that doesn't load pics.

If it's just a few random pics, you can right-click and choose "Show Picture" If that still doesn't work, you can refresh the entire page. And if it's still not there? I'd say it's not you but the webpage itself. They might have removed the picture from their file but left the link on their page.

In the browser click Tools/Internet options and the Advanced tab. About 2/3 of the way down there will be a box labeled "Show pictures" Make sure that's checked and hit apply.

post the url! red x means simply that it couldn't be loaded...

let the answerers give you good advice! it could be the movie is broken or your settings are wrong!

update:
there is an option in each browser to turn off images. what browser are you using?

Check active x settings. Also check that updated Java is installed.
