becuase schools ban mobile phones because its a distraction to the school students and the school wouldnt want mobile phones ringing during class time

Many students are not not honest and text message their friends and family regarding answers to test questions. Cellphones should be banned in every school. Students leave the cellphones on and the ringing of phones in schools is rude and annoying to students, teachers and other staff. If a student must reach a parent he or she should wait until the class is over and go to an approrpiate locate to make a call that is not distruptive to others.

some kids won't turn them off, or at least put them on vibrate. but, personaly, i think they should be allowed at any school. like, just the other week, a local school burned down to the ground (it was such a sad day) and luckly most the students had cell phones to call there parents. also, if sporting events are cancled and all the school phone lines are bussy student's cells can come in handy.

a million. -telephones are a Distraction, i.e. ringing, textual content alerts or vibrations. 2. -cell telephones mean an more advantageous probability of being mugged/attacked. 3. -scholars may nicely be lower than pressure, of the Peer form, to purchase the recent, maximum severe priced telephones which they purely can't locate the money for. this may lead on on to bullying. Dah. I think it is called something like studying! Besides, why should hardworking people pay for someone's morons to go to school, if all they are interested in doing while there, is playing on a cell phone? Also, I think school uniforms should be implemented in ALL schools, as well as going the way of ALL MALE schools, and ALL FEMALE schools! Sorry to disappoint you with my answer.

For exactly the reason they are banned. Students who used them in school were making education very difficult for everyone, including themselves. DUHH !!
Your question justs makes it more obvious, since I am sure you all had been warned before the ban concerning why.

cellphones should not be banned at schools but one reason would be that alot of kids are so into their phones (texting, playing games ect ect) that they loose focus on their work.

A lot of people don't turn their ringers off and it is very distracting when a phone rings in the middle of class. And now texting has become so popular, that's also a distraction.

because students are in school to learn not to recieve text messages or phone calls...every classroom has a clock or buy a watch you don't need a cell phone to check the time. i think it's okay to use after school...but that just goes to show how stupid our society is...we don't need our phones during class.

Becuase it's bloody difficult to teach when half your class is talking on a cell phone.
