I was told you are more likely to get a wrong negative result than a wrong positive............

I would go to the doctors just to make sure, if an egg fertilised in the wrong place i.e a fallopian tube you do not produce the hormone detectable in a test as quick....

It happened to me I had an eptopic.....

Im sure its nothing but just double check xxxx

It happened to me with my son. I was pregnant and I knew I was pregnant I had every darn symptom in the book. However, I got a negative blood test, and numerous negative home tests. Finally my doctor did a vaginal ultrasound and happily told my husband and I we were around 7 weeks pregnant. Some women just have low HCG levels in the begining and it takes longer to show up. I hope that is the case for you and that your on your way to being a mommy! I think the same thing is happening to me again..because I am a week late and symptoms, but negative tests again.

I did a pregnancy test quite early on, but after my period was due, with my second pregnancy - the line was so feint I didn't notice it. I did another test two days later and had a positive result. You could be, would recommend doing another test in a couple of days.

My period varies from month to month. I wouldn't be worried about a 5 day late period. I have been 2 weeks late and still gotten my period. Since you are trying for a child I hope that you will succeed. Good luck.

Hi,to be sure I would advice you to consult your doctor. But if you are stressing, that could delay your periods. That happens with me often enough, so if you want to get pregnant you have to relax. So that the stress doesn't effect your body, you should find a way to relax. It will probably increase your chances as well of getting pregnant. But since I am not a doctor please consult with one, before taking my advice. And good luck.

Go to the doctor especially as you are normally like clockwork.

Pay no attention to the name-calling. I was called a tramp when I posted a question once. They just don't care!

well, if this test says it's negative, than it's probably negative...so don't stress about it too much. it's common to get your period late once in a while.
