When I met my husband I wasn't nervous at all and I felt as though I knew him all of my life. I know that seems really weird but its true. I fell in love with his first glance. Now he didn't know that he would marry me right away but he said he knew that there was something different about me that he had to figure out. The best part of our story is, I ask for him. You see I had been in and out of mindless relationships and had my heart stomped on by someone I really cared for so, I was really tired of the 'dating game'. I was only 16 at the time and already tired! One night I just broke down and told God I was done and I ask him if I could meet the man I would marry even if I had to screw it up first. About a month later I met him I just knew this was the one. After dating awhile and me almost screwing it up we married and have been happy for 15 years and 13 of them married.

I think that you cant just look at someone and know that you are going to marry them. I know when I met the man I am married to, I knew I loved him. After we were together for a few months or almost a year we knew we were going to be married. I love him so much. Just look for love dont worry about skimming men or judging them for marriage, look for someone to have fun with.

I did know there was something special the first time I saw him...and on our second date I did know I was going to be with him forever...
It's strange to me to because I've had my heart broke so badly before meeting him and didn't believe in love very much at all...but we have been married for eight years and it's been amazing!

Nope, I didn't even want to give him the time of day the first time I saw him. I only agreed to go out with him the first time because I was bored and my boyfriend at the time was being a jerk. Now, I can't remember what I ever did without him!

I knew the moment I laid eyes on him. It took him about a year and a half to come to that conclusion too. Been married for 19 years.

I can't say I knew the second I saw him, but I knew on our 3rd date! My mom knew she was going to marry my dad the second she saw him...she did not, however, know they would get divorced 17 years later! =0)

Some women (or men) might feel that way, but I really think it takes time to make that kind of decision. People who say that are most likely just trying to make it seem "meant to be" or "romantic". Some people may really have those feelings, no discredit to them, but most of the time - no.

you mean.. love at first sight??.. ok mine's not exactly love at first site.. but knowing her for a week made it possible for me to think i might just end up with her my entire life...
its because we get along pretty well and you JUST know it u know.. ther'es no thorough explanation but when u know it .. u just have that GUT feeling that you know it.... we are animals by the way and instincts are still prevalant...
