Then I watch the pro games and they screw up so much. Why don't the pro teams recruit some of these great college kickers with their perfect records? Please explain this to me because I actually feel ill if I am watching a game and the kicker loses it for their team. I know there is a great deal of pressure on them and blah, blah, blah, but when I am being paid good money I give a good performance, nothing dirty intended, that is just the way I roll. Your wisdom please!

because most of the good college teams have good kickers and they only show the good teams on tv. In the pros, the people trying to block the kicks are much better which puts the kickers under a lot more stress. Plus, they're often trying to kick longer distances than college kickers.

You must not watch Chris Hetland of the Florida Gators I think he is like 1 for 10 this year.

Pro Kickers statistically are better than College Kickers. It seems that many Kickers perform poorly under pressure, but then aganin kicking is a completely different situation than any other football scenario.

You obviously didn't watch the Arkansas vs Vanderbilt game -- which the Hogs won from a missed kick. Or, even better, the Arkansas vs Alabama game, in which Arkansas won by only missing two Field Goals while Alabama missed two FGs and an Extra Point. So, bascially, kickers for college teams suck too, you're just not watching the right college games to see it!
