Your best bet is to contact the RCMP office near where he was killed or perhaps the local newspaper there . If all you know is that he died in Canada then you're going to have a long search. If you know the general area it's going to be much quicker. I would suggest using google and http://www.411.com to find RCMP offices and newspaper phone numbers. You can also try the local libraries in the area as they may have articles from newspapers that have since folded.
