The Tigers didn't lose 120 games a couple of years back (okay, 119). The Mariners, sad sacks that they have been for most of their history, didn't lose 120 games. And no, there is too much talent on the Mets for them to lose 100 games, let alone 120, even if they don't find more pitching. Besides, everyone else is generally hurting for pitching, too.

You have to be kidding!!! No way, even w/o Pedro or Glavine. They will just sign free agent starters or trade for starting pitching.

You really want that record off of the Tigers' back, don't you?

Yeah, they're definately gonna have some pitching problems next year. I don't see them making the playoffs but I don't know about 120 losses.

Will you ever spell pedro right? Will Kenny Rogers stop cheating? Will the Tigers even make the playoffs with Indians Sox and Twins breathing down their necks looking for revenge?

they shouln't lose 120 because they have decent sticks in the lineup. But you are correct about the pitching, something that Detroit has a lot of, and young too.

no...because they've still got their line-up around and Omar Minaya's smart enough to find talent to hunt down guys that will replace Glavine and Pedro...besides, Pedro didn't do much for them this year anyway, he spent half the year on the bench.

120 games...are you kidding me?!?!?!?!?

They don't ultra-suck to the level of 120 losses.

Let's be rational and look for the top of the curve of probablility -- right around 105 losses?

no they wont because wright, reyes, delgado, beltran, wagner and they will probably sign Zito to a huge contract.
They will probably make the playoffs again.
