Usually when they are able to stand, follow instructions and stand in one place and not fall off the scale. It's really up to the Dr. and staff. I think they measure in length until about 3 ft. I'm not 100%sure on that.

With my 3 children it varied, They started with my daughter when she as young as 10 months, because she was standing up alone by herself, but with my two sons it was after their first birthday.
