I'm not 100% sure on this one, but I rather doubt it.
It's been WWE policy since the earliest Federation years to simply *not mention* or talk about by name any wrestler that isn't working *for* the company currently. If Rey quit, *nobody* would be allowed to say anything, and all you'd get at the webpage is a "We wish Rey Mysterio the best of luck in his future endeavors!" type of deal....
And yet, the announcer team on Smackdown tonight mentioned him repeatedly tonight and so did *wrestlers* (Benoit and Chavo Guerrero). And no, not in the way the Rock dissed Stone Cold when he quit a while back either....
They're acting *as if* he's still with the company, so yeah, I don't think he's gone. Maybe on the injured list or off doing something, but definitely not "quit" or "fired".

No Rey Mysterio didn't QUIT!!! He's just taking a little break from wrestling right now ,but he'll be back in a month or two because he has to recover from his knee surgery !

No it was a story angle because Rey had to have knee surgery to repair damages to his knees because of what wrestling did to them over the years. He should be back within 6months to a year.

No, that was just part of the storyline. He just had surgery (which he has been needing for months, actually only one or two after Wrestlemania) on his left knee and should be back in six months and then (hopefully) join Raw. I hope that answers your question.

properly i like Rey i think of wwe ought to provide him greater funds positioned it could remember on how lots hes soliciting for when you consider that he's amazingly harm services hes a solid wrestler i in my opinion wouldnt wanna enable him go

his knee injury was a sucess, and now he has to recover, so he probably wont be around a couple of months. But he didnt quit.
