Many people put these types of things in dumpsters behind businesses or in apartment complexes. I still think the best way is to put a $50.00 "for sale" sign on it and set it by the curb. I guarantee it will be "stolen" overnight. This is also a good way to get rid of old tires and other items too big for the trash pickup. It works every time.

Good luck with your disposal problem.

I agree with larryd: put a "For Sale -$10" sign on it and somebody will steal it within hours, as soon as it gets dark!

Leave it at the street with a sign on it that says free. You will be surprised at what people take.
