You need to install the PSP Media Manager on your computer to manage your music and video downloads. It supports mp3, wav, wma, and other compression formats.

I have a PSP, but I only seem to be able to play MP3s. I know the recent update, you are able to ENABLE WMA playback. I actually don't have much in the WMA format. Make sure you have enabled the WMA playback, somewhere in the settings.

I have a psp but i dont use it for music snce i have an ipod also but wma is windows media player so put it on your psp and go to music and listen

first u turn on the playstation portable and it will start u at saved data utility. so press the left button until u see settings.(it should then be on the top left)under settings u should see video settings.Once you your are there press down until u see system settings.Select system setting by pressing X.Then You Will See "Enable WMA Playback" Select It...And U Should Be Intelligent Enough to continue beyond this point.

You use the PSP. with ur hands, u press the buttons until you ssee music. This may take several minutes.. then u press listen to music.. and then u put the PSP to your ear ( located on the side of your head ) and listen to the music.

yo kid,... im sorry but all of these people are dumbasses.. first off before i answer your question what version are you running on... if ure not a hacker then update to 2.82 but if ure dealin with homebrew then dont touch it. Your psp can only play mp3's mp4s, atracs and other junk like that. you can convert wma's to mp3's in window's media. thats ure best bet. when in windows media, right clik on the bottom ( where i ussualy says wats playin and has the buttons. then clck on options. after that go to rip music and change the settings. maybe if u mess with ure psp more u can figure out on how to compress mp3 (if there to big). search on google it u have any more questions. theres millions of hackers out there that have forums that have done things to there psp that not even heard of. u should learn wat u got in ure hands.

My sujestion is to throw the psp out on the front lawn and file for an insurce claim on it. Or somthing.

WMA is associated with Windows, not Sony; there fore they only allow you to add them to Windows products.

I DO JUST BUY A USB WIRE FOR IT HOOK IT UP TO YOUR CPU AND LOOK AT YOU START IF YOU HAVE WINDOS AND CLICK THERE PRESS THE MY COMPUTER AND YOU WILL SEE YOUR PSP NOW JUST DRAG AND PLACE WITH THE PSP GOOD LUCK
