Double standards just like a lot of things. And a lot of people probably have a problem with it because there are a lot more male rappers then female and it just causes more men to feel they can disrespect women as well. Don't get me wrong I don't think female rappers saying it makes it "okay" but if thats what a female feels that she is then that's her personal choice and she can call herself whatever she wants, same for a male.

I like some rap, but alot of the new stuff is stupid. Like Eminem, Chingy, and all those others. I wouldn't even give them a second look if meeting them in person. It's because if you listen to some of the idiotic dribble coming from their mouths you would realize how incredibly conceded and sexist they are. Being a rapper doesn't give you dibs on women you want to bang. Just because some women are whores doesn't give anyone, not even big name rappers, the right to degrade them all. Furthermore, nothing wrong with calling someone out for who they really are. Just remember, it works both ways. So, if you act like a dumbass, you just might get called on it.

Because of what you said. These chicks out here now a days be catching feelings over nothing!! I don't get offended when I hear that and I love HIP HOP. And your right the female MC do the same sh*t also...I think there is entirely too much stuff going on in the world then to get offended about a word that they weren't even saying to them! ONE LOVE

You're right, some women do act that way. But it only encourages women to do so. You may be able to tell the difference, but younger girls listen to that and think that's how they can be "hot" and noticed by a guy. And that's wrong. And it encourages guys to think that way about women. It's disrespectful. You may not realize it, and maybe you're old enough to not let it get to you, but the music you listen to really does have an effect on how you think.

Just because women rappers refer tot hemselves the way male rappers refer to females does not mean that most females are okay with it. Actually, MOST are not. It is disrespectful. And people wonder why the world is the way it is...*sigh* People need to treat each other with respect and love.

mostly because its degrading, they not only talk bad about them but also have them dancing around on their set half naked, and expect to sleep with them just cuz they are famous. I don't think that any respectable women would like to be refered to as a bitc* or whatever else they say.

Because they are speaking of women in general when they say that crap. I find it horribly juvenile how they criticize everyone different from themselves. Women aren't the only ones being insulted.

Rap is crap, seriously! It upsets me how girls get bitched at in them songs and they are the first ones in line to buy their damn tickets! What is wrong with society today? That music should be unacceptable! I HATE IT! =/

It's just lyrics and I feel that if it offends you don't listen. It's not my problem that the rappers speak that way. But, as we all know people have to find something to bit ch about everyday or they'll go crazy.
