Schwag is middle grade. Chronic is high grade. Ditch weed is low grade.

Reefer, Mary Jane, pot, weed, herb, smoke, joint, bowl, peace pipe, butter, 4:20, are some slang terms.

Well basically, the guy above me is completely right. Regies is a term used for both normal dank and normal mids. Its not anything special or lousy. "Kind" is an early 90's term for dank. Hydro and Dank are often seen as the same thing to some people. Homegrown weed is shitty as **** if your a retard who doesn't have a green thumb because its lodged up your ********. All weed is homegrown. Its grown, at somebody's home, or place of residence somewhere... It's all about how good your seeds are, whether it is indoor, outdoor, or hydroponics, and how well you cure it. Basically, it is not that important to know all the terms of weed. Just as long as you know the terms weed, dank, mids, and dimebag... you should be alright. Hard, smack, Yayo, Clear, and Angeldust are not terms for weed, by the way. So if someone tries to sell you one of the above, it ain't what you lookin for. F.Y.I.

skunk
shwag

those are just a few.
pot comes basicly in 3 forms

first is the mexican stuff, that looks like it was stuck up a burro's ***, usually brown and cheap. this stuff grows in the wild and usually gives you a "body" high; usually lasts a good while but you just end up feeling tired after, use beer as an alternate

the other stuff is of higher grade, the grade has to do with genetics and genetics determine how much THC is produced (okay that's not entirely accurate, but i'm not going to write a book here, have to get back to my bong.) this stuff generally is grown indors and using hydroponic methods. it can be grown outdorrs however, just not usually as "clean" this gives you more of a mind trip, usually doesn't last as long as the cheap stuff but you don't feel tired when it's over and you just have a more interesting time

lastly, the third kind--the government stuff
yes the federal government grows pot, and it is damn good.
they have been messing with the genetics of canibus for a long time. this stuff will blow your mind, but it is extremely hard to come by and costs a **** load.

when you hear different names like "california gold" or "orange crush" it is usually a variety of the second kind, and terms like "dank" and "shawag" refer to the cheaper kind of pot.

update:
the guy who said about home grown is crap doesn't know crap.
just remember, that genetics determine a lot with a plant, if you have good genetics the plant will do well

if you are trying to figure out a kind here are some good guidelines

look for chrystals, the more the better, they are sticky, if squeze it with 2 fingers and your fingers aren't sticky it sucks.

secondly look for color, it is supposed to be green

lastly look for red or brown hairs, if you don't know what i'm talking about, you haven't found good pot yet

Hmm...I don't know but I'll try and give an answer anyway. If you have to explain it in terms of diffusion, I'm guessing that the NaCl is rapidly diffusing into the plant since there are much more salts outside of the plant then inside, and diffusion always occurs when a substance goes from a high concentration gradient to a lower. So all of the salt inside of the plant causes the plant cells to become hypertonic (solutes are dissolving into the cells and water dissolves out). If cells don't have enough water, they shrivel up like a prune. That could cause all of the main parts of the plant to become functionless functionless and it could easily kill the plant. I don't know if this really happens, just basing it off of what I already know about diffusion. Edit: What do you mean opposite? I just said that the salts dissolve into the plant meaning water would go out.

Good weed= Chronic=hydro
Bad weed= homegrown=mexican brown whatever.

Hundreds of terms, couldn't begin to list them all.
in california 300 or so for ounce of chronic, 40 bucks
for ounce of homegrown.

also there is a site that will tell about weed clubs and prices in your area, i just can't remember it offhand.
