Let me see if I understand. You state that you are a crossdresser. I think you are saying that your wife is comfortable with your crossdressing but is objecting to any type of gender reassignment. This is a perfectly normal reaction for her as is your confusion.

Do you feel that you are a woman born into the wrong body type? Have you felt this way for a significantly long period? Just because you may enjoy dressing as a woman does not necessarily mean that you are transsexual. Many crossdressers are heterosexual males that just enjoy how the clothes feel and fit and are still attracted to women only.

I think you may be confused between the different categories of trans existence. I suggest that you contact the local LBGT organizations in your area to see if they can help you find a sympathetic mental health professional. You should try to define just where you're coming from before making any decisions as to where you're going.

Opera did many shows on this. You have to tell you wife. Some wives stay, some go... it's something that will evolve as you keep being honest.

You will have to go through much therapy before anything is nipped and tucked! You had better be damn sure you want to do this. Based on how you phrased your question, it dosn't sound like your that serious about the surgery.

It all sounds so superficial too... fake boobs, etc... What's truly important is your brains and heart!

If you want a sex change, you are suffering from gender dysphoria and are not just a croos dresser. What you need to do is see a professional psychololgist or psychiatrist for diagnosis and appropriate therapies. Your wife will need therapy as well to deal with the issues that affect her.

No legitmate surgeon will operate on you unless you go through therapy, hormones, and a real life test first. Anyone who will is not safe.

You should most certainly discuss this entire business with your spouse. I saw the movie, "Normal" and it was pretty devastating for the family - especially the wife (not that he was wearing HER clothes, though).

Also, I agree with the one that said if you were serious, you wouldn't be calling breast implants "fake boobs" and the other female part "fake *****.

Get real about it and then discuss it with your wife. Good grief, you're going to need her support!

I am not trying to be negative about your situation, but i do feel that if you were really serious about this, you would have already done some research, and would not be calling it "fake boobs and fake *****." I didn't quite understand your question being that you are married and your wife is o-k but not o-k. She either is or she's not. I feel you made a commitment to her as a man and you should be a Man and follow through.

Wearing womans clothes will not make you a woman you can not have babies nanananana.Next you have mind problems that need to be evaluated. If you are serious about this dress as a woman tomorrow and go on a job interview and see what happens smart a--.Also most cross dressers think they look good but alot of them are nothing but ugly men that look like a freak show.If they look so good as woman then why is everyone laughing at them.

Marriage is based on honesty, so you need to be honest with your wife. Tell your wife how you feel and find out what gender reassignment actually entails. I personally do not know that much about gender reassignment but do know that it is a lengthy process that requires a complete commitment on your part. You may find out that you are more comfortable cross dressing, but you shouldn't keep secrets from your wife.

so you really are not a crossdresser
you are a transgender or transsexual
embrace your wife into your life she is going to be the biggest support person in your life
depending where you live if you wish change genders you will have to divorce but dose not mean you do not stop loving each other
as it is still illegal to be a female married to another female
something we all are still fighting for
take it slow you have a long way to go
but most importantly be true to yourself
this is a site for fake breast

You need to tell your wife the absolute truth about what you are feeling, thinking and wanting. She deserves to know. She will have to decide what or how much she can deal with. I have been there. We are divorced but still close friends. Sometimes you just have to be the person you want to be, even if you lose a person close to you. This may be the case for you.
