I have a very special person who is incarcirated in a detention facility in Riverside California I was wondering if there was a special number to use so he can call collect HELP

I am a little puzzled - are you saying that YOUR number is blocked or are you saying that the prison payphones are only able to call designated numbers?
I am not *quite* sure what you are sayig the problem is.
Could he - for example - call anyone else? If so, who and why could he not make the call to your number?
Could he dial a freephone number? I doubt it but possibly it could be allowed. If so, then google "freephone number" and you will find you can get them quiet cheaply - a few dollars a month plus a usesage charge

first make sure your phone is set up to accept collect calls, then call the jail he's at.
They'll have a number to the company that will set up an account for billing of the calls.
at least that's how it works with minnesota

If you unlock your phone to a prisoner be ready to pay phone bills until you pay them off, and get an unlisted number. Once those guys get a number they will run you crazy. I think prisoners cannot call collect in Georgia anylonger to due to phone scams, and most of it was due to unsupecting young ladies who trusted someone in prison.
Beleive me if he had excess to your phone to call collect and was asked for it by bubba and the brothers wh would be more than glad to give it.

It would have to be unblocked from your landline provider.... You would most likely be asked what that number was, and you must call from the phone that he is calling to..

I just checked Verizon and I think the codes may vary by state. Check your phone service provider's website. I'm sure you can find it.

Check the front of the phone book, it usually had that kind of info in it.

my boyfriend is in jail in minnesota. there is a number posted there that they can call. have your special person give you that number
