Look to a couple of their major "spokespeople" for your answer - Hilary Clinton, a woman who has so little self respect she puts up with a philandering husband; Howard Dean, the party chairman who scares the daylights out of me; and last but not least, John Kerry, whose inane comments proved that a high dollar education does not equal intelligence.
Make your own decision.

I really wonder when I read some of these answers if some of them are real young kids Like one person does not like Hillary Clinton because she puts up with a husband who cheats. You would really be surprised at the amount of women who stay with husbands who cheat they all have reasons that are their own
That does not make them a bad person. I don't know if the democrats will fail to live up to your expectations but I'M sure they will try to run things the best they can. Remember they don't have a man in the white house. The congress and senate had a more peaceable man in Clinton then this congress and senate have with Bush He is use to doing just what he pleased when he had a congress and senate with the majority republicans.

Mess up what exactly?
The budget? The GOP gave us red ink as far as the eye can see.
The war in Iraq? Already an unmitigated disaster.
The economy? Wages for the middle class rose 5 times faster under Clinton, and have completely stagnated under Bush.
Skyrocketing healthcare? The GOP gave us a nonsensical drug plan written by the pharmecutical companies. They got so lazy they apparently decided they no longer had to bother coming up with their own legislation.
Security? The GOP ignored the findings of the 9/11 commission, and did nothing to secure our borders, ports, or loose nukes.
You either already realize things are messed up beyond belief, or you had your head stuck up your $*# and voted for the GOP on Tuesday.

Probably straighten things up as usual. The economy was going great when Clinton was in. Only the rich have done well since Bush got in. The poor had to join the service just to survive. Problem is there are a bunch of poor folks out there that keep voting republican thinking they will help them. If there wasn't a war, can you imagine what the unemployment lines would have been.

My conservative convictions make me want to shout "yes", but honestly, it all depends on the individual. Some politicians, regardless of party affiliation, are just better at screwing things up than the average person. The sad truth is, in most elections, you're not picking the "best candidate", you're picking the lesser of two evils.

I hope it can't get any worse than it already is. I have little faith in either party but the democrats are the lesser evil. Lets hope all goes well.
