It is unprofessional and unethical for the teacher to disclose any negative information about you and may be a flag that the teachers performance is less than satisfactory. Teachers need to be upheld to the same standard of respect that they expect of the students. Concerns should be addressed with the teacher first thru your parent(s) for clarification. If this does not resolve the issue, it may behoove your parents to contact the principal and Board of Education in writing. Such a conflict of interest may also involve your transfer to a different class in an extreme circumstance. Use caution and parental judgement within your district so that you do not get blackballed and have your grades affected.

It would really depend on what she is saying. If she is saying bad things about you, Then I would say something to both your parents, teacher, and the principal. Really depeding on what was said. And whom she is saying these things to.
Defentally let your parents know what is going on. I hope that they will support you. If not go to a student advisor or counsler, they should have one at your school.

Absolutely - a teacher did that to my son last year. I told the principal and she was reprimanded.

Yeah, that's not appropriate if she's making negative comments about you to other students. I would talk to your parents about the situation first and have them talk to your teacher and the principle if necessary.

No, do you ever talk about your teacher to friends? parents? You need to realize your teacher is a human being and whatever he/she says outside the workplace is their right of freedom of speech
