The first question for you would be if you have a business license, tax resale certificate or otherwise qualify for wholesale pricing??? The second question is what kind of quantity you are interested in??? Alot of times people and/or businesses think they are buying massive quantities of an item, only to be laughed at by the sales reps.
If you are looking for a legitimately large quantity, check with your local library for directories of wholesalers and distributors. Bring some nickels for the copier and copy those pages and then phone, fax, email or write for pricing and terms and catalogs. The Librarians can help you find the right directories which are usually in the reference sections.
If you dont have the appropriate tax certifications, those true wholesalers or distributors are not going to work with you. Stick to retail pricing if you are looking for small quantities and try to find closeout merchandise. Get to know local store managers and ask about sales, closeouts, irregulars, etc. There are a number of craft supply shops that are retail and online.
Don't be afraid to negotiate pricing!!!
