He is just not that into you and it maybe time to look for a change. In two years he would of been making plans for the future for you both but he's not. I say it's time to move on.

When someone is not ready there is no reason to push that person to agree in your decision. Always remember that love and affection comes naturally and if he loves you he will ask you to marry him. Sometimes fear of commitment will stop someone to move to the next level. You may want to ask him simple question like "do you think you can live me forever? or have you ever thought about having a family in future?". Ask questions that will let him think. Let him answer with honesty and don't rush him.

If you feel like you need an answer then you may want to sit down with him and talk about future plans. I believe you have the right to know where the relationship is going to. There is no point in leading each other to the wrong direction in life. Good luck.

Marriage is not something to be taken lightly. I hear is is a lot of hard work and compromise. Focus on enjoying the time you spend with him. It wouldn't be good to force him into a suitation he might not be comfortable in yet. Start talking about the future a little because you are curious about getting married, but don't push him if he doesn't have much to say, as he might get scared off about talking about the future.

You don't mention your ages. Teens? Twenties? Middle 20's I would say if he didn't know by after being with you for two years, he will never know. Only thing to do is to ask him why he doesn't want to marry you... if he ever will want to marry you.... Then decision time for you. Best of luck.

marriage is a piece of paper that says you will be together forever. Marriage is also and institution, do you really want to be institutionalized? with the divorce rates, and the price of lawyers. Live together, laugh together and love. you don't need marriage to be happy and you are not going to be happy just because you are married.

I guess if you're happy, you might as well stay. I think it is difficult to buy a home or anything like that together when you are not married. It is strictly up to you.

definently give him more time...you dont want to rush him into anything as exciting as it may be. you might want to talk to him about it or just hint around to see if he has intensions of getting married. good luck

you can't rush him or you will push him away. he may love you but just simply not be ready for that big step. there is an awful lot to consider before you get married an it is "SUPPOSE" to be a commitment that is to be for the rest of his life. he is just not ready for that big step yet.

give him more time. guys mature a lot slower than girls, so he is probably just getting comfortable in the realationship while you are ready to take it to the next level. just give him a little bit of time and try not to pressure him. good luck : )
