My school football team has no self-esteem!! I mean this season we've only won 4 games. Before we got our new coach we were unbeatable!!! And We won the championship almost every time!! I mean I know our team is good, they just dont care anymore!! What can the school do to bring up their self-esteem or. whatever for next year?

Friday Night Football is lyke one of the biggest things in my town. Everyone goes!! And Its been brought up before to fire the coach but no one has yet!!

This coach has been here for lyke a couple of years!! I mean Last year we went to the finals but then lost majorly!!! And the only reason we ever got to the finals taht year is because of the other teams sucking really bad

Ummm... am i the only one who sees this as being simple? well, if you were good BEFORE this coach, and have sucked since he got there, then maybe they should fire the coach? ya think? maybe?
A good coach that inherits a good team that has good players, does NOT start losing with a good team. If he changed the System with a team that was successful running a certain system, then he is an idiot and should be removed. I mean, cmon! atleast wait til the seniors on the team graduate before you start changing things.

Sounds like the coach made a mistake of changing the system too drastically. And it also seems like the players dont respect him all that much for it. Also remember whenever a new coach comes in that isn't 'purely excellent' something like this will usually take place.
Smart new coaches know not to change a winning teams routine all that much just to tweak it a bit here and there. Keep it fresh but somewhat familiar. Let the winning players play 'their' game in other words dont try teaching a winning quarterback how to throw the ball properly or a winning lineman how to block. They already know how to throw a ball and block that's why their winning. This coach sounds like he may need to be coached LOL. he probably feels like he needs to change it up because the other teams are getting wise, which is understandable and smart. maybe he didn't need to change it up so much though.
Just keep up the moral, root them on, support them. This will pass and you will find out if this coach and his system are truly worthwhile it takes a little time. Its all part of the game. best of luck

With a new coach and a new system it will take some time. If he is a good coach and the players unite and play as a team, they will win again!

Keep the players in practice. I know a team who never practiced and they never won a game(Kalani Falcons in Hawaii).

This is the wa my schools team is. The students just need to go to the games and cheer them on to let them know they support the team.

IF YOUR TEAM HAS BEEN REALLY GOOD IN THE PAST, IT GIVES OTHER TEAMS THE MOTIVATION TO PLAY EVEN HARDER. THEY WANT TO BEAT YOU, BADLY!!! A NEW COACH A NEW SYSTEM. BE PATIENT, YOU'LL BE BACK
