Hi all! I often have dark circles under my eyes. I know they say the answer is get more sleep but they still seem to come (or linger from the nights before). I also break out now and then. What cover-ups (concealers) do you all use and what are the good things, the bad things about them, the length of time, the amount of coverage, simplicity etc of your choice? I find that using foundation can help reduce some of my problems but I hate how dark cycles can completely ruin my look. I don't wear make-up ever day but I wear it every few days etc (depends on my mood, amount of time, what I'm doing etc). In case it matters I am 16-25. Thanks a ton.

I have dark circles and i use this stuff called Physicans Formula undereye concealer (found at places like walmart or target or walgreens for about 7 dollars) The good thing about it is that it acually helps your dark circles go away after time. The bad part about it is it only comes in about 4 or 5 different colors, but usually i put a liiitle bit of foundation over it to match the rest of my face. The best best best best bessst foundation i have ever used is Revlon Colorstay With Softflex. The good things about it are that it looks really natural like you're not even wearing makeup, it's oil free so it wont make your skin break out, it comes in many colors so you'll find the right shade for your skin, it doesnt rub off durring the day, and hm.. well that sounds pretty good to me. The bad part about it: nothing. I havent found a single thing bad with it yet and i've been using it for about 6 months, maybe even longer. Oh yeah, one bottle will last about 6 months. Good deal in my opinion. You can also find this at places like walmart or target or walgreens for about 10 dollars.
Hope this helps :)

I have the exact same problem. I use a little bit of yellow concealer. I read up on dark circles and experts recommend it because the yellow counteracts the blue. At first I went for oil-free makeup, but it didn't really blend well, so now I use regular yellow concealer. People don't really get pimples around their eyes anyways. I went to Target and chose Physician's Formula because it was hypoallergenic. Also, I really recommend using a concealer brush to apply. It makes a big difference. Those are also at Target for about $4.

If the yellow doesn't match the rest of your skin, Physician's Formula offers a yellow concealer WITH beige cover-up, so you can blend it or use the beige on top of the yellow. I don't wear a lot of makeup either, so it's nice just to hide my dark circles, curl my eyelashes and go!

I don't have to fix or touch up my concealer during the day at all. Sometimes for fancy events I'll use Laura Mercier's oil-free tinted moisturizer. It's pretty light and doesn't feel cakey, but gives you good coverage. Good luck!

You should fix the dark circles first. Use Mary Indulgent Eye Cream and those baggy eyes will have to pack their bags. Then you could use Mary Kay Concealer. Just click the link below.

I would suggest getting a light colored foundation and dab it under your eyes when doing your makeup.

YOU CAN EITHER TRY A CONCEALER OR A LIGHTER SHADE OF YOUR FOUNDATION. JUST BLEND IT BEFORE YOU PUT YOU MAKE UP ON.
