I will try to be as candid as possible but I have a problem that i need an answer to. When I am on my period sometimes it flows heavily.(the fact that is heavy is not the concern) I am not a small peteit person and the problem I am having is finding a pad that will catch everything and is wide enough for "that area" I have a wide vagina and it can be a mess. I don't need to hear smart a** remarks, I just need to know what kind of pad will cover that area and not let the stuff get on my clothes?

I have used the 14+ pads with wings, but they are not wide enough. they catch the back leakage, but it's the sides that run out and down my legs and it's embarrasing. tampons will not work just because, any other suggest??

I know how you feel. I have a hard time finding the right size as well. I have had two babies and my first periods very extremely heavy. They gave me these huge pads in the hospital that caught it. What I would say is call your doctor. They may have some info for you on what kind to get and where to get them.
Good Luck!

Always makes pads for women who r size 14 or more. They r longer and have wings that wrap around ur panties to keep it from flowing over the sides.

Not being a smart ***....When I was pregnant a girl told me to use poise pads...bladder control pads but...pee or ppppp??...wet is wet....After birth I did and they worked....if you bleed heavy try them....and they also have different styles and absorbencies....being a chick is tuff but what doesn't kill us makes us stronger and if we can come through woman crap like this....WE ROCK!

I used to have the same problem, I buy Kotex Longs, and you can also check the bladder control kind when its really bad, or like the overnight ones too, but definitly try Kotex Longs!!!

use the appropriate absorbancy tampon and also wear a pad. that way, anything that escapes will be caught by the pad and not ruin your clothing.

Why not use tampons instead? that would solve everything and it's so much tidier and easier. If you don't like tampons... have you tried the pads with wings? Or what about using two pads side by side? I dunno... I'm a tampon girl myself!

that happen to me too((blushing))my kitty kat is kinda wide heheh so what i do. I use overnight maxi pad protection.I use that for daytime and night time.Remember the one with wing!.so it won't drip on the side of the undies.Don't use tampon.it cause infection and irrartion.
