My son has a book by Christopher Paolini titled "Eragon". He wants to sell it, but I think it is a true first edition and worth some money, I want him to hold onto it!! Can anyone help me?? I have searched completed questions and have noticed comments about the number sequences...this one is numbered from 10 to 1 and it does not say first edition, however it has only one date inside. Any suggestions where to find the worth of this book and it if is in fact a first edition? Thanks in advance.....

It might be an idea to contact the publishing company to find out if it is indeed a first edition. I would check ebay and the like to determine the market. However, I truly doubt that a first edition of that title is very valuable. Good luck.

To really guage the price someone is going to want to see it. A good local bookstore that sells used and antique books would be the best place to go. Get a few opinions though.
