If it were me I'd take her to the ER, especially if she has a fever!

More than likely this is an allerigic reaction to something, sometimes called hives, and the use of hypoallegenic soaps should decrease and eventually eliminate the problem, though I would still take the child to the doctor to be sure it not something serious, and to head off any infection that may be present.
NOTE: Some foods can also cause allergic reactions, especially in children under two, like strawberries.

I would get her to the ER just to make sure. It does sound like chicken poxs, but it could be an allergic reaction to something. You would hate for her to start having problems breathing if it is an allergic reaction to something. I hope everything turns out ok. Get her in. Better to be safe than sorry.

even though she has no fever as they are turning green take her to the Doctors it sounds to me like very bad cradle cap or psoriasis but take her to ER to be on the safe side never risk it with kiddies that young! And it will put your mind at rest!

Soap allergy? If your health plan has some sort of 'intermediate' health care (not as dire as the emergency room, but some sort of same-day care like Kaiser's "urgent care" department), it might be a good idea to try and get an appointment through that avenue to make sure it's not something really dire. Since it's green, it sounds like some sort of fungus thing to me(?).

How old is she? If she's a newborn it could be infantile acne, which is common and is caused by your hormones in her system. Either way, I'd get a hold of your doc, just to make sure it's not anything serious. Better safe than sorry.

It's not baby acne! My son had baby acne and it most DEF. was NOT green!!!!!!!! It also DOESNOT sound like chickenpox either... I would take your little one in ASAP... this sounds like an infection of some sort that could possibly spread or make her VERY ILL.. after going to the DR and getting her diagnosed I would reccomend WASHING all her blankets and sheets and any clothing she has worn in HOT water!

Please take her to the ER! Don't wait till Monday! No one on here can tell you for sure what it is. Only a doctor can do that!
Good luck, and I hope it's nothing too serious.
