First of all it's Biblical, it says in the Bible that it should be done. I think Abraham did it when he was way old as an act to be closer to God. I dunno somebody correct me if I'm wrong. And second, men with foreskins get infections. Not only will he have them but he could very well pass them to his partners. It's damp and dark under there that's practically screaming bacteria. My son .. will be circumcised.

Although there is no medical reason for this, it's done for hygienic reasons. Also, it's merely the foreskin, and it doesn't harm the baby at all. It's done more in America than Europe and is also a ritual in the Jewish religion. Your friend is confused and should talk to a doctor to get a better understanding. You should go as well because your tone tells me that you are clueless.

Why is this in marriage and divorce? ha ha Are you afraid your partner may be thinking Lorana Bobbit thoughts?

Some people do it to their sons for religious purposes...its in the bible. Something about cleanliness...My husband didn't have it done and then when he was much older, he had to have it done due to infections. (1month later))
