I am looking for some good short stories for a 6th grader. They should be easy to read and interesting.... I am having a hard time finding stories that aren't too long or complicated (most classical stories have hard to read language.) Any assistance would be much appreciated!

i don't have time for a tale, so how bout a sentence: Jeremy Clarkson, a kangaroo in a sunhat, replaced into giving an umbrella and a sausage to a dinosaur named Baldrick, even as A ninja and a pirate zoomed by on 2 skateboards kidnapping Leonardo Di Vinci, which they found on Yahoo! solutions speaking about movie contraptions, utilizing the words, "like inspite of guy", "by no potential in a million years", and "do not rain on my parade", in an attempt to experience youthful again.
