study + no study = no failed + failed
study [ 1 + no ] = failed [ no + 1 ]
divide [ 1 + no ] from each side :
study = failed
eyeonthescreen you have no sense of humor. However, if "study", "failed", and "no" are variables, then my equations do in fact work (assuming no≠-1)! Also, it is "no failed" not "not failed"; therefore not Boolean either!

What? This is not an ordinary algebra problem; this is a logic problem. The answer that divided by 1 + no is way off mark.
Boolean algebra, which deals with logic, needs to be used. Let's look at some notation first:
failed = NOT NOT failed, as NOT NOT = 1 in Boolean A.
study = NOT NOT study, same reason.
study = NOT failed means they are equivalent logically; so we can substitute one for the other and vice versa.
Following the rules of Boolean Algebra, we find that:
study = NOT failed no matter how we arrange the terms. Or equivalently, NOT study = NOT NOT failed = failed. Which agree with the givens.
Thus the proof is false, study does not equal failed, which can be written as study <> failed or NOT study <> NOT failed, which is true.
By the way, NOT <> is equal to =; clearly when something is NOT NOT equal, it is equal (remember NOT NOT = 1). So we can write NOT study <> NOT failed, so that study NOT <> NOT failed and therefore study = NOT failed, which, again, shows that study <> failed, starting with the given study = NOT failed or starting with the given NOT study = failed.

exactly what it says, you dont study, you will fail, you do, you wont..you use your dbl negatives right
study=no failed
you study, you will have a no fail, or pass in other words
which makes this statement true
no study=failed
you have a no study, or didnt study, you will have failed
which makes this one true as well
