The house falling on the wicked witch's sister & her creepy feet/hands or whatever that was curling up when the shoes disappears. Yuk.
The talking trees and slapping Dorthy's hand. I was in shock that trees could talk & be so mean.
Of course the wizards head & the fire & loudness of it all.
And last, but not least TORNADOES! I didn't even know what a tornado was until I watched that movie. We don't get those on the islands. We get hurricanes & tsunami's, so that was the extent of my knowledge on natural disasters.

I really used to get an eereie feeling from the whole movie, however it was fun also. The witch really scared me and I hated the scene when Dorothy was locked up and the hour glass was running. I knew what was going to happen, but I was still always afraid she would run out of time. Also, when they were in the poppies freaked me out, because I didn't realize what was happening when I was little. And the monkeys scared me too.

The Flying Monkeys
the Wicked Witch
and Them Falling Asleep outside of The Emerald City.
I just don't like to see people falling asleep by some uncontrollable force. It bugs me.

Someone already said it - but when Dorothy's house landed on the wicked witch of the East and Glenda removed the ruby slippers from her feet and the feet curled up and slid underneath the house. And the scene when Dorothy is in the wicked witch of the West's castle and the witch's face comes in largely in the crystal ball.
