i wouldnt set an age to leave. i moved out willingly at the age of 18, and though my life didnt leave much room for any other choice, had my home life been better i think now that id be better off had i stuck around a while longer. it all depends on your situation, if your working a decent job, if your planning to go to college, if your leaving to be with a boyfriend, will you have roommates, do you own a car, liscence, there are so many things to take into consideration before deciding to leave home. being out on your own is a lot of responisbility no matter how much fun it is to not have to answer to mom or dad. though they may not be there the electric company will be, as well as your landlord. just be more focused on if your ready to leave home rather than how old you are.

I'm 19 and left home october 19th 2006 to get married to my 28 year old husband who I only knew for a week. By the way I am very happy now. More than when I was at home with my parents.
