i have a creative zen nano 1GB and it has about 450 songs on it (WMA format) and I still have another 100MB left. creative zen mp3 players are good, i haven't had any problems with mine,but you are talking about a different kind though.

i don't prefer iPod cause it doesn't have fm and voice recorder.
Creative Zen Vision W is for the ones who likes watching video than listening music. It has 16:9 screen. It's very satisfying to watch a movie with that. It's LCD is 4.3". I think it's really great.
Creative Zen Vision M is for the people who listens to music a lot and seldom watching videos.
Both are great. it just depends on the user. If he's more of music or video.

The vision:m or vision:w are your best bet but they made for two different purposes. the w is made for watching video and has a large 4.3 inche screen.it can also play mp3's and has radio but becuase of its size it is not pocketable. the "m" is much smaller and can fit in the palm of your hand ,the screen is 3.5 inches but it has a dazzling 265000 colour screen ,better than the 65,000 screen on the ipod. both visions have amazing sound quality with a s/n ratio of 97 db which ipods can't match. the built in fm radio and voice recorder for both visions are great unfortunately ipods are not equipped with them.Creative has a background in digital sound equipment, thier cambridge soundworks hifi systems are on the level of bose. ipods are based on hype and there is nothing extraordinary about them, if someone tells you otherwise ask them to prove it.

well zen vision m and ipod are the same as in what there for, music. which the zvm is the best. the zvw is an awesome video player and the ipod is a piece of ****.

I would say the ipod because they r awesome and you can get more accsesories for them
