I ask this with respect to anyone who has ever got stressed out with the in-family fighting, buying presents for people whom you couldn't give a **** about, sitting down to a glorified roast for the sake of an hour, where the people involved would rather be in a pub with strangers, and the fact that you will spend more on the plastic than you ever imagined!
Just think that it is more effort than it's worth.

Yes I appreciate that it is a good time to see family and friends and it is nice to see the reaction on children's faces opening presents.

I love the smiles on my grandchildrens faces on Christmas , and watching them play with their toys . My family isn't as bad as you portrayed .
We really don't play the spend too much money game either . We just can't afford it . Wow I thank you for this question because now I feel better
than I have been feeling . We have even less money to spend this year as I've been injured and can't work , but my babys won't care , they just love spending time with their extended family .
Isn't that what it's all about .

Every body lost the meaning of Christmas. Christmas should be the celebration of Jesus's birth. A time where family and friends can be together.

Definitely. I work in retail and it so takes the meaning away. To me, it's just one month long party. You spend too much, eat too much, do to much. By the time it actually arrives, you're amazingly glad it's over. I do like the aftermath when the dust settles and things return to normal.

no. I don't celebrate Christmas, and niether does my family. There really isn't anything to get stressed over besides people who over eat or get wasted and have to come into my ER.
