Interesting question. I thought about it, then concluded that it's those moments of the silver screen that are fondly remembered as fact:

James Cagney's "You dirty rat!"

and

Humphrey Bogart's "Play it again, Sam."

Never actually said, but part of Hollywood lore! I know there must be plenty of others - perhaps others might know.

And what about those iconic moments like Marilyn's dress blowing up her legs? Scarlett O'Hara's "I'll think about it tomorrow!" Anton Karas's zither music in "The Third Man" and, in the same film, Orson Welles's Cuckoo Clock speech?

Some thoughts, anyway...
