Check with family, letting them know you are available to do some work they might need done... that your trying to earn some Christmas money.
Maybe cleaning house, laundry, ironing, washing windows, clean out the cars, help get Christmas decorations out of the attic, what ever they need.

Do any of your neighbors have dogs they need walked? Maybe you have a computer game you don't use anymore that you could sell on Ebay. If you have old clothes that are still in good condition, you might take them to a second-hand shop, or have a garage sale with the rest of your family. I hope you have a nice Christmas!

See what jobs in the neighborhood need to be done. Ask the neighbor if you can wash cars, help clean out an attic. Ask your parents if you do additional chores, can you be paid. Make the prices fair. Cleaning out the cupboards for $.25 each, cleaning the whole house for $1.00 a room.

There is nothing wrong with asking for cash for gifts, if someone asks. It's easier for them and it ensures you get what you want in the end, which is what gift giver is really after, afterall. Best bet, give them some gift card ideas for merchants that you use, say, apple, target, best buy. That way they feel they are at least personalizing the gift. Or if Cash is eally what you need, tell them Amex, Visa or MC gift cards.

With the holiday fast approaching, I'm sure your parents would be willing to pay you to help them with their plans. You could babysit with your younger siblings, help dad decorate outside etc. Ask, then truly EARN the money.
