ok.
you could call yourself:
WOP
DAGO
GUINEA
GOOMBAH
I Tie
GINZO
GREASEBALL
SPAGHETTI BENDER
MEATBALL

Not trying to be offensive, just trying to get out a point.
You know, the first way to stop prejudice is to stop using terms that separate people by races, colors and creed.
There are no Afro Americans,
There are Americans
There are no Mexican Americans,
There are Americans
There are no Italian Americans
There are Americans

There are no Blacks
There are people

There are no Jews

When this country was founded, a vast majority of the people came from Western Europe. The people there are, for the most part, Caucasian. The fairer skin colors from that area were probably seen as superior to those of other climes. This, and the tendency of human thought to go to binaries, probably led to "white" being seen as better than "black" or darker skin colors.

Thus, "white" was seen as applying to the general Caucasian population. But even within this population, you had groups from specific countries and regions that had their own labels as evidenced by your capitalized ending to the details. I think the growth of "Whatever-Americans" was an attempt to acknowledge the different groups' heritages while trying to be inclusive of the entire population.

The reaction to this attempt is best understood by these groups trying to reaffirm their uniqueness. America was supposed to be a melting pot where all cultures would contribute to form one unique American culture. Instead, it has become a stew where the individual componets are still distinguishable but are part of a greater society.

That guy is rather ignorant. Does each guy or woman of shade call him those names? No. So why is he focused on all human beings like we even understand who he's? Does he understand that the United ***** college fund is to assist greater Black get into college? Does he understand that the prevalent public of school pupils are white? Does he understand that folk of shade could be happy with themselves in this White ruled society? Does he even get indignant with the help of the words cracker and honky or is he merely pretending to so he can call a black guy or woman the n-be conscious? Why might you prefer to call a Jewish guy or woman a kike besides?

You may know what you are but I can tell you that a lot and I do mean a lot of White folks in America don't know their background heritage. Why? Because of all the mixing with different White people who come from different places of Europe, so just saying White makes it easy for some ignorant people who don't know where they come from okay?

Just like how White people always say Asians are Chinese right?

I'm Laotian and proud of it!

I am heinz 57-alittle bit of everything and not much of anything. By the way, Caucasians are people who live in the Caucasus Mountain areas, and consist of the Ossetians, Chechens, Kabardinians, ect. Not all white people are "Caucasians". It is a generalized, albeit incorrect, term.

We get called white because it's easier to say "the white guy" than the "caucasian".
