I loved him. I grew up listening to his dad's group the O'jays. When Gerald came out it was refreshing to find not only someone with a great voice but also someone who wasn't stick thin or always ripping open his shirt while begging a woman to come back. He was classy.He let it be known that big guys and big girls needed loving too.
