They're going to try to bring pressure to bear on Bush to cut and run! That's all they know how to do. Life in the U.S. just got really scary - even if you ARE a Democrat, don't you find it a little unnerving that our ENEMIES are HAPPY to see the Democrats come into power?!? Big, BIG, mistake.
All my life I have watched how the Republicans will come into power for a while...people decide it MUST be time for a change, so they vote Dems into office. After a year or two they wake up and remember WHY the Republicans came into power in the first place. Up to now, it's been relatively harmless - it's damaged the economy but we recover pretty quickly. This time there was so much more at stake. I pin this on on the liberally-biased media. I'd like to blame the drones who believed them, but the breadth of that is just too much to contemplate. Hate to say it, but if you wanna know how we got where we are, go to Wal Mart. Look around. Listen.

When a cause comes along and you know in your bones that it is just, yet refuse to defend it--at that moment you begin to die. And I have never seen so many corpses walking around talking about justice.
Because of American propaganda, a little known fact is that Hezbollah is not even considered to be a terrorist organization by most of the world! Indeed, only the US and its puppet governments of Israel, Canada and Britain consider Hezbollah as a terrorist organization! In fact, Hezbollah and Hamas have exchanged prisoners many times with Israel who now has decided to use the Hamas and Hezbollah "kidnappings" as their latest pretext to invade and slaughter their neighbors.
Israel and the US have violated not only the United Nations Charter, but numerous UN resolutions in their murderous wars of hegemony and imperialism. Thus, the Axis of Powers becomes the real terrorists in the Middle East, not the Palestinian, Iraq, Afghan and Lebanese forces who really are engaging in legitimate self defense against the invaders/occupying forces.

I can only pray that the two parties can agree to keep our country safe, we did not ask for 911. Pres. is the chief and commander of our country, but with dem. having control in Jan in both houses, I'm concerned of the grid-lock and the lack of comprising from all sides. It also makes our country look bad, that we want changes in Congress regarding the Pres. Look, we all need to respect the president, despite of how we feel, our own very lives are in threat in this country everyday, now more than ever. If you don't believe it, watch the news, take the threats seriously - they were there when we had 911.

oh you must still believe we went to Iraq to revenge the 911 attacks? Time to wake up buddy, that's why we went to Afghanistan and that is why we should have stuck to that plan! If you want to talk about protecting this country from attack, why would you attack a country of Islam that had nothing to do with 911 and produce more hatred towards this country. All the while not protecting the borders and trying to sell our ports. Yeah that was a great plan!!!

And this is different compared to the last 6 years in what way? Also, the Dems do not "take control" until January. Bush is still the Commander in Chief ( scary ). Anyway, given your scenario, what are YOU going to do?
