haha im not a crook and if i was i dont think id be publicizing it. I assume I will call a locksmith, was just trying to avoid the charges, I'm broke. If trying to force it open would ultimately be more expensive I obviously have no choice though. Thank you!

I wonder if a crook is asking this question? The cheapest and fastest way is to use your boot. However, the boot is also the more expensive and messy way. A lock smith is a good idea.....or a cordless drill, a bit, and some trial and error time works to.......

If your a crook.....spend more time figuring out how to change your life in a positive way.......and if your not........give a key to a dependable person and stop losing yours

a locksmith will drill the key hole out, you can do it with a portable drill and a drill bit for metal. Or call a local handyman, chances are his rates will be less than a locksmith

Yes, for maintenance reasons you should contract a porffesional locksmith, because I personally doubt you will do more damage to your door than repairing your problem.

break in thru a window, the deadbolt wont let you in unless you bust out the entire door frame

USE A PRY BAR -- WEDGE BWT DOOR JAM AND DOOR AND PUSH TILL IT GIVES.....

DON'T TRY TO BUST DOOR NOR JAM... JUST KEEP TORQUE ON BAR.. WHILE PULLING OR PUSHING DOOR OPEN--WHICH EVER WAY IT SWINGS...
