There is nothing wrong with freshmen. Enjoy being a freshman and having fun. When you are a senior (whether in high school or college,) you will know the answer to this question. There is just something about freshmen that can really drive an older student crazy. Seniors get so wrapped up in worrying about the future and what will be happening when they graduate, that they forget what it is like to be happy-go-lucky freshman. Some of the older kids do act pretty immature and bash the others. They just get on a power trip or something. Ignore it and when you're a senior, treat the freshmen the way you wish you had been treated.

that's the way it goes. sophomores, juniors and seniors were treated the same way when they were freshmen. i suppose they feel like they are "getting even" for the treatment they received at the hands of their former upper classmen.
it gets better once your a bit older, but i can certainly understand HATING the treatment.
i was a freshmen at an ALL freshman high school... i didn't go to a mixed grade high school till sophomore year...and the sophomores were picked on like the freshmen WOULD have been had they attended the same school.
it suxs. but that is the way it's always been.
don't put up w/abuse though..that is NEVER okay.
but as for little punks making fun, or lightly picking...just ignore it and be the better person... and when YOU are a junior/senior you'll be able to treat your fellow freshmen classmates with more respect than what you were shown.

Hey fella.... suck it up. I'm a freshman too. Personally, I don't have a problem with the older kids making fun because I accept the fact that I'm less mature and more annoying than them. The freshmen that deny it and think that they're just as good/cool as the older kids are even worse. So, stop your whining and accept the fact that you can't do anything about it.

There is a serious flaw in what your saying here. One of them that it is spelled "Sophmore". The other, well, your also being predjudice to those that do not bash on Freshmen. You've got to realize, that it is highschool, and every single freshman goes through it. It may be wrong, it may not be fun, but really, It's kind of life man.
Though if the kids were united, they would not be divided (Thanks to Sham 69 for that song), yet that is not the case. I only bash on the freshman that think they know everything, and expect the world to be handed to them. Earn the respect of your peers, and you'll get respect.

Well, I don't know what's exactly wrong with them...We're all human when you break it down. However, at my school, it just seems that the majority (notice majority, not ALL) of the freshman class is louder than before and get into more trouble. That is just my observation... I don't pay much else to the drama because I try to distance myself from that as much as possible.
Also, it seems that people are getting smaller because some of the freshman at my school are tiny! :-)

Theres nothing wrong with freshmen, remember, those seniers juniors and sophmores were at one time freshmen. which means they were afraid to going to a different school, or facing a whole group of new older people. it is immature for them to act the way they do but unfortunatly thats something everyone muist deal with when in school. there are always people who make you want to throw something at them, though its not reccomended to do so! lol. i remember being becoming a sophmore, and though it was only one grade higher then the freshmen i felt proud to be able to say that i wasnt the newbie, but i never made fun of anyone(unless they were already my friends, which was just in good fun). there are jerks but there are people who arent so shallow. so be the mature one and have a good laugh at their expence lol.
