Be careful though: many universities have ways to detect information "stolen" from the internet. I'm going to have to agree with the other two posters...you need to do your own studying on this. I can't resist your question on multiple personalities versus schizophrenia, though.

They are two completely different disorders, with practically nothing in common. People with dissociative identity disorder (multiple personalities) seem to have split their personalities into different parts. It is widely believed that this occurrs in response to repeated, severe trauma. People with schizophrenia have delusions and hallucinations, and suffer from cognitive impairments. They do NOT have separate personalities.
