Would someone PLEASE tell me exactly what DOES"NT constitute chatting?

Vinny: I'ver had questions deleted for "chatting" before they even posted, so much for that theory.

It seems to be open to interpretation. That used to be the main reason my questions/answers were deleted, but last night I had 3 questions deleted for Violation of Community Guidelines. The Yahoo watchman must have had triggerfinger last night with the big X button.

Maybe the askers of questions should not respond to the people who post answers to their questions on the same site. Maybe that when this happens YA considers it "chatting". You Think?

It seems like almost anyone question can really be considered chatting.Yahoo needs to lighten up on that violation.

I agree. That is such a nebulous, ill-defined, part of the site rules. I don't think we'll ever figure it out because it is so subjective.
