Yes, it is the old school Nintendo. I just can't get the screen to do anything but flash. Any ideas? Help?

i am definitly the one to ask! i have one that i use regularily
1.get a q-tip and rubbing alcohol
2. dip qtip in alcohol and run along the green thing inside the game you know it kinda looks like a motherboard? on both sides....do not blow on game or system it will in time make it worse! that should clean it and if it still does not work just keep taking the game out and holding reset turning power on and off, eventually it will work

thats personally what i do and it works great...ps the alcohol wont hurt it i got the info from a nintendo guy who fixes them!

Ok. I just brought my old NES out of the closet for the first times in about 5 years the other day. Mine did the same thing.
I just old it up side down. Blow into it really hard and bang it on the sides. And after a few minutes it should play.

But becare not to bang it too hard.
