THANKS for all your answers.. This proves that many are still don't know the difference between question and statement. I just posted a question about their visualization of heaven and I don't see anything wrong about that question. gosh! people here are too sentisitive.. I am just wondering why? thanks anyway! I haven't found any of the few questions of yours that I have read to be mean or bad.
I guarantee you that there are some very immature persons on this board who are quite childish, regardless of their chronological age.
When I first came to Y!A there were some people who took it upon themselves to viciously attack anyone who even mentioned religion. They were very childish people, and brought their problems on themselves, and have since either disappeared, or changed their names, They brought their troubles on themselves.
I went back and read your question about Heaven, and your question didn't even address a particular religion or philosophy, so I really don't understand how so many people got thumbed down.

Because most and I know I will catch h@ll for it but most people ether don't believe as you believe or just plainly don't want to talk about it,don't ask me my believes because I know I don't believe the way you do I believe the bible was written by a person or people and I cant believe in what I cant see.There is so much wrong in the world today because of RELIGION as you say. I believe in treating everybody as I would want to be treated now that don't mean that I love all people because I don't because there a lot of dumb @sses that live out there people that need put to death not put away in prison or put on probation they are just not good people.You ask for an answer I don't know whether I can give you the answer you are looking for I can just tell you how I feel,and you keep on believing what you feel.I will tell you one thing some people just don't want to hear or see it they don't care.And as far as opinions the best thing to do is keep it to your self until you go somewhere people want to hear it.

For some reason people think the question you ask applies to you. I ask about marrige for instance and people give me advice on how to fix my marrige, however I am not married.
it kinda comes with the territory, most of the answerers are not professional, just average people guessing to the best of their abilities.
And like conversation religion and politics are never good ideas, if you are planning on keeping the conversation going.
It looks like you already expect it, so have fun with it. I really get a kick out of seeing people getting all bent out of shape because of a simple question.

angel, some people get offended a lot easier than others - that's the reason they'll give you the thumbs down specially when it has to do with religion or politics. i usually try to stay away from those subjects, because those two topics are very touching in peoples hearts. i hope this helps you out.

I think that so many people in this world have turned their backs on any religion is the reason why this world is in so much trouble today. Those people are angry because they have no hope in their hearts and don't want anyone else to have hope either..

Either the people who happen to read your questions are either uninformed, or are of a different religion, or perhaps just scared? Don't be discouraged, though! I've had some of my really good answers (or what I thought were good answers) removed for violations, and I learned to just brush it off...if we all were to think alike it would be a pretty boring world. Religion, politics. These are the two most "hot-button" issues.
As the old advice goes, "never discuss politics or religion in polite company". Its the surest way to start a fight.
People are just that passionate about their beliefs and view disagreement as a personal attack.

People do seem to get quite excited at times.
Although, many questions that are pertaining to relgion seem to be asked in a very accusatory or judgemental manner... I am not saying this is the case with yours, just a trend I have noticed.

Perhaps they are afraid of religion and that is a way for them to attack it. Thinking that they can make it go away.
