Why not get a job instead? Why let the tax payer's money pay for your lazy azzes if u are healthy and able to work?

You should have expected that if you came here to ask a question about welfare you were going to get bashed point blank,anyways I am not going to be judgemental but I just want to say welfare is for the needy and if you truly need welfare right now such as foodstamps and medical coverage and now they have welfare for people who are childless but it is a grant and it must be paid back and depending on which state that you live in you will get the grant from 3-6 Months if you qualify for it but you must sign a lien for the state to get their money back so basically if you do get the small amount of monthly cash when you file for your taxes after you do find a job you will have to reimburse the state as I said if you really need the help then go for it but just don't get to dependent upon it and become a a burden on both your state and taxpayers everyone needs help sometime but I do agree with others here if you can avoid it try to find a job asap I wish you well and I hope this helps.

If you two are room mates, and both of you have children, and have little to no income, you can go apply for welfare. If you are single with no children, you more than likely wont get it. The welfare program offers food stamps, medicaid, and a small amount of cash. You will be put on a program where you will have to go out just about daily looking for a job, and they track this by having the places you apply sign a piece of paper. If you are not in desperate need of welfare, it would definately be easier for you two just to get jobs.

WHY IN THE HELL DO YOU WANNA GO ON WELFARE? We have enough welfare cases out there. Go get a job and earn a living instead of having us hard working people support you. That is so wrong that is whats wrong with society now a days LAZY ASSSS PEOPLE

My Father in law was crushed and had to exist on $230.00 per month, disability with $126.00 food stamps.Welfare SUX!!!
Do yourself a favor! GET A JOB, GET A LIFE AND GET YOUR MIND OFF THE WELFARE ROLES you'll ruin any existence you could dream of having and suffer for the period of time your on it!
You'll turn your kids into needy lost unwanted frightened people and yourself into a looser by proxy.
