Well I used to watch TRL when I was younger and I always wondered if the MTV vj Damien had a crush on Lala since he was always flirting with her on the show. Did they ever date? What was going on?

No, they never dated, just really good friends. She is engaged to Camello Anthony, a forward for the Denver Nuggets basketball team. She also just announced on TRL this past thursday that's she's pregnant with their first child.
