Anyone who says that "all liberals are terrorist sympathizers" ... is doing far more to help the terrorists than the "liberals" they despise. I.e. they are playing into the terrorist goals of turning Americans against each other.
I believe that the supporters of the war in Iraq have played into terrorist goals by (1) diverting attention from the hunt for Al Qaeda; (2) ridding them of their biggest enemy in the region, Sadam Hussein; and (3) by turning Iraq into a recruiting and training ground for new terrorists.
... but I while I believe they have unwittingly played into terrorist goals, I would NEVER accuse fellow Americans of being "terrorist sympathizers" just because I disagree with them. Anyone who does isn't much of an American.

No real liberal would ever condone terrorism, but to know that you would have to know what a liberal really is and not what some talking head on TV or Neocon rag calls a liberal.
Normally when Neocons and their bobble-head followers say terrorist they mean anyone who fights against US business interests running rough shod over their country.
Lets see:
Iran was our friend, then our enemy, then a client, now an enemy
Iraq was our friend, then a client, now an enemy
al-Qaida We funded and trained them in Afghanistan against the USSR, now they are our enemy
Taliban: We funded and trained them in Afghanistan, then did business with them, then they were our enemy, now we want to put some back in charge
Hey, lets not for get the Contras, U.S. sponsored, even after Congress said no, CIA trained
Now if what you mean by terrorist is people who cause terror and havoc in order to destabilize governments there are allot of those, some of them were even called "our allies"

No liberals have ever come out in favor of terrorism.
Your question is actually funny when you consider that the only people who are profiting from the war financially are those who have a stake in Halliburton and KBR. That would be Cheney and slime like him.
If there were no terrorism, they wouldn't be raking in huge profits from these companies, so logically they have the most to gain from a continued terrorist threat. Does that make these Republicans terrorist sympathizers? Of course not; it just makes them people who are willing to profit from the suffering of others.

I did hear a great many on here who were conservative Republican who were rooting for Hezbollah to win against Israel! They tended to forget that they killed 242 Marines in the Barracks bombing in Beirut!! So I guess some of you on the right are terrorist sympathizers!
My only issue was that there weren't any in Iraq before we got there!

Are you? I'm a democrat, and I'd never feel sorry for people that murder the innocent at will. I think you been listening to too much right wing propganda my friend. None of us sympathize with terrorists you idiot, we hate them too. And our strategy to beat them WILL prevail, while yours let our military men and women die left and right with no end in sight. Shame on anyone that sends our troops into harms way and then acts like they really give a damn and are patriotic.
