Decimal time is the representation of the time of day using units which are decimally related.

Decimal time is any time following decimal number base{0-9} that is base 10.
There are other number bases like octal {0-7} that is base 8,hexadecimal{0-15} that is base 16,Binary{0-1} base2.

Decimal time is usually whole and fractional hours from midnight.

So 12:30 am would be 0.5

5:45 pm would be 17.75
