I would like to gain weight, but in a healthy manner. I'm a 14 yr old, 92 lb female, I'm about 5'6-5'7. I found out that I am below the 5 percentile, which puts me at underweight. But I would like to know the best way I can gain weight the right way, without supplements or anything like that. I would like to be able to reach between 98-100lbs within 2 months. (Is that a realistic goal)? If anyone can suggest anything to me I will greatly appreciate it. Thx

yes i have the same problem except im 5"2 1/2 and im 103 pounds. but im getting better. i ate everything basically just dont eat like fast food. salad and drink a lot. also eggs, and meat. PASTA helps too. you need a full course with all your nutrients.

I have finally got to a weight I am happy with. I always had a problem with being able to keep weight on and not lose it. The way I keep it on is to drink Carnation Instant Breakfast in between meals at least once a day. It has all of your daily vitamins and taste really good. Chocolat is my favorite. If has a lot of calories, but ones that are good for you because it is milk and vitamins. I would not try to gain too fast because you can still get stretch marks even though you are skinny. It's not how big you are it's how fast you gain it. Good Luck.

just to let u know. u are not the only one. im 12 and i weigh 70 lb. dont try the milkshakes! the protein ones. they taste terrible. i have an extremely high motabolism and have always been skinny. i have always been around the 5th percentile.good luck!

Eat carbs.. bread, pasta, french fries, fast food,ice cream, cake , bagels,rice cookies.
