Anyone like to learn tennis or play tennis?

I will like to recruit a tennis team at the Western district of Singapore. Any boys or girls interested can mail.

Looking at the responses of others it seems like most of these people have played table tennis a few times here and there, like how I play air hockey once in a month or two - far from seriously. If you are one of them, especially, if you have doubts if table tennis is a sport, or if you think table tennis is tapping a little plastic ball around, their answers probably apply to you. If you have played the sport of table tennis the way it is supposed to be played, you will realize that you do use each and every part of your body. Playing table tennis all my life, it did help me start playing "lawn tennis" when I did. Hand-eye movement, getting into the right positions, range of shots, game strategy, etc are few of the areas where I found it to be useful. Of course I am not even trying to suggest that if you play table tennis well, and have never tried playing "lawn tennis", you will be playing it like a pro the very first time. Both games have their differences, and it will take you a while to master them. However, I can assure you, you will benefit in a number of ways that others who have played neither sport before. So, in short, the answer is yes, but to what extend, it depends on how you have been playing table tennis.
